This Payment Policy explains what payment methods we accept, when you’ll be charged, and how payment issues are handled for orders placed on autosiliconehoses.com (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Accepted payment methods

We accept the following payment methods (availability may vary by device/browser and checkout):

  • Bank transfer / Pro Forma (where offered at checkout)

Currency

All prices are shown and charged in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

VAT & taxes

Where applicable, VAT is calculated and shown at checkout and on your order confirmation. If you have a VAT-related query (e.g., VAT invoice request), please contact us after placing your order.

When you are charged

  • Card / wallet / PayPal payments: Payment is taken at the time you place your order.
  • Bank transfer / Pro Forma: Your order is confirmed, but will only be processed and dispatched once cleared funds are received.

Bank transfer / Pro Forma payments

If you choose bank transfer / Pro Forma at checkout, you’ll receive instructions (and any required reference) in your order confirmation. Please use your order number as the payment reference so we can match your payment quickly.

  • Orders paid by bank transfer may take longer to process due to bank clearing times.
  • If payment is not received within 30 days, we may cancel the order.

Payment security

We take payment security seriously. Card payments are processed via secure, PCI-compliant payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.

Some payments may require additional verification (e.g., 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication) depending on your bank.

Failed or declined payments

If your payment is declined or fails, please try again using a different payment method or contact your bank/provider. Your order will not be confirmed until payment is successfully completed (unless using bank transfer / Pro Forma).

Fraud prevention & verification

To protect customers and prevent fraud, we may carry out security checks. In some cases we may request additional verification or cancel/refund an order if we suspect unauthorised activity.

If we cancel an order for security reasons, any successful payment will be refunded back to the original payment method.

Discount codes & promotions

  • Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retrospectively.
  • Only one discount code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.
  • Promotions may exclude certain products, delivery options, or sale items.

Chargebacks

If you have an issue with an order, please contact us first so we can help resolve it. Unauthorised or unnecessary chargebacks may result in your account being restricted.

Refunds
