Description
Description
T-Bolt Hose Clamp is a high-strength, heavy-duty clamp engineered to provide uniform 360° sealing on boosted intake pipes, intercooler connections, coolant lines, and industrial hose assemblies. Built around a solid steel bridge with a threaded T-bolt, the design delivers consistent clamping force and excellent resistance to vibration and thermal cycling. Available in zinc-plated or stainless steel constructions, the clamp offers corrosion protection for on-road, off-road, marine, and plant environments. Wide bands (18–24 mm depending on size) spread the load to protect hose carcasses, while the high-torque hardware (M5–M8) supports secure seating over beaded pipe ends and silicone, rubber, or reinforced hose types. Rated for continuous service from -60°C to +180°C (with +190°C peak capability), T-bolt clamps maintain seal integrity across temperature swings and pressure spikes in demanding service.
Key Features:
Material: Zinc-plated steel or stainless steel body and hardware.
Diameter Range: Multiple sizes to suit typical hose ODs from ~17 mm up to ~130 mm (refer to size grid).
Band Width: 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm, or 24 mm (size dependent).
Bolt & Thread: M5–M8 T-bolt with matching heavy-duty nut (length varies by size).
Break Torque (guide): 6 Nm (small sizes), 12 Nm (medium), 24 Nm (large).
Operating Temperature: -60°C to +180°C; +190°C short peak.
Design: Rigid bridge with wide band for even load and reliable sealing.
Finish Options: Corrosion-resistant zinc plate or stainless for harsh environments.
Engineered for boosted and high-load joints, the T-bolt clamp produces a high, repeatable clamping force that resists slip and cold flow on silicone and rubber hoses. The wide band acts as a load spreader to minimise hose indentation, while the solid bridge prevents band “pinch” at the tightening point, keeping the clamp round under torque. Hardware selection scales with size—moving from M5 to M8 threads—so larger diameters can be tightened to higher torques without thread galling or loss of preload. The corrosion-resistant finishes protect the clamp in road spray, salt, and chemical exposure, and the temperature rating supports use adjacent to radiators, turbos, and charge-air coolers. The result is a robust, serviceable clamp that holds seal pressure through vibration, heat soak, and pressure cycling.
Typical applications include turbo and intercooler couplers, intake and charge pipes, radiator and coolant lines, diesel boost plumbing, marine wet-exhaust and cooling hoses, agricultural and plant machinery connections, and general industrial hose assemblies. Pair with silicone or rubber hoses over beaded tube ends for optimum retention. Choose zinc-plated steel for cost-effective durability or stainless steel where maximum corrosion resistance and longevity are required.
